WHO CAN REGISTER FOR CAMP EVEREST?

Any child 7 to 17 years of age who has undergone brain or spinal cord surgery at any point in their life is eligible for Camp Everest.
New to camp this year
Junior Counsellors – available for past campers who are 17 years old. Please register on the volunteer page.

PLEASE NOTE: Filling out a Registration form does not guarantee your child’s acceptance. Registration priority is given to campers who do not have a summer camp alternative. (A summer camp alternative is one that is either able to meet the campers medical needs or provides them an environment in which they can interact with children of a similar diagnosis).
Even if your child has a camp alternative, we encourage you to apply for Camp Everest North. We will make every effort to accommodate all kids that apply. You will receive a CONFIRMATION EMAIL on MAY 15 if we can accommodate your child.
Each year as Camp Everest North grows, we are UNABLE to increase camper numbers as we are at capacity at Camp He-Ho-Ha. Early Registration is encouraged but does NOT guarantee your child`s acceptance as we must consider other factors (i.e. If your child has previously attended, has other summer camp options, is a NEW camper etc). Thank you for your understanding if we are unable to accommodate every applicant.
CAMPER FEES
Camper fees are $350 per camper and are required to be paid in FULL 2 weeks before camp. This includes three nights and four days at Camp HeHoHa, all meals, snacks and activities. No camper is turned away for financial reasons. Financial assistance is available through the Neurosurgery Kids Fund, please email campeverest@neurosurgerykids.com.
Payments should NOT be sent until you receive a conformation email that your child will be attending Camp Everest. One you have received conformation, your registration fee can be e-transferred to payment@neurosurgerykids.com.
If you are unable to e-transfer, please mail a check payable to Camp Everest to 2513 Warry Bay, Edmonton, AB T6W 0P1.
*NOTE – Campers will NOT be permitted to attend Camp Everest if:
- Financial assistance has not been requested (we will confirm this request)
- Payment has not been received by deadline (we will confirm receipt of payment)
